Where is your favorite place to read? On my screened porch, amide my plants.
Have you ever picked up a book that was so compelling, you couldn’t put it down? Yes. The Frozen Thames by Helen Humphreys
Tell us about your first experience with or earliest memory of the library. What is the most significant change you’ve seen in libraries since then? From stereoscope views and card catalog drawers to all the computers.
Why do you think libraries are important? They are for all the people.
What is your favorite hobby and what sparked your interest? Gardening sparked my interest when my grandmother showed me how to propagate her Seven Sisters Rose.
What one thing would you consider a priceless treasure? The tulip quilt my grandmother made for me in 1934.
Do you have a favorite motto? “Hi, Ho!”
What famous person in history would you have liked to know on a personal level? Agatha Christie
