Check-out Helper
If you have the ability to work a set weekly schedule and enjoy working with the public, checking out materials to patrons may be the position for you!
Check-out Helpers are cheerful and helpful by nature. They work directly with patrons retrieving reserved items, checking-out materials, and explaining material due date schedules.
- must be able to deal diplomatically with the public
- must pay great attention to detail
- basic computer skills may be helpful
- position requires standing for long periods of time and some bending and lifting
- Minimum of 4 hours per week preferred
