Beyond the Shelves Outreach for Children

Storytime @ the Museum – Volusia County Public Library visits local museums for special pop-up storytime experiences.  Storytime @ the Museum is an interactive literacy program designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers visiting the museum. Children and caregivers are introduced to a wide variety of introductory literacy skills through stories, rhymes, and some motor activities; in a fun, learning environment. Storytime @ the Museum themes are specifically designed to be relatable to exhibits that may be within the museum.  For upcoming Storytime @ the Museum visits, visit: LibCal - Volusia County Public Library.

Mobile Technology Lab – Mobile Technology Lab is an interactive technology literacy program designed for school-age children.  Children are introduced to a variety of introductory technologies through hands-on, educational activities.  Mobile Technology Lab visits may be scheduled by contacting local branches.
