How do I log in to my account or why can’t I log in to my online account? It’s asking for a PIN, what is my PIN?
To login or establish an online account simply enter your library card number and the PIN that was assigned. If you changed the PIN but can't remember what it was changed to, you can click on reset password. Unless you changed it, your initial pin would be your birthday in this format - MMDDYY - NO SLASHES- (only the last two digits of the year, not all four)

What is a Seed Library? Does Volusia County Public Library offer them? If so, at which locations?
A SEED LIBRARY is a community initiative where public libraries offer a sampling of seeds (for various plants) to residents, allowing them to grow their own food, grow their own traditional or windowsill gardens, support local pollinator ecosystems, or to enhance their properties, decks, or patios. This concept cultivates community and a connection to nature, while fostering sustainability, gardening, and local food production.
Volusia County Public Library is committed to promoting sustainable gardening practices that support local ecosystems, avoid the introduction of invasive species, and empower residents in the fight against food scarcity. Through the SEED LIBRARY, the library aims to promote a resilient food system (thereby enhancing food security) and foster good environmental stewardship by providing free access to a diverse collection of commercially sourced (or expert-inspected) vegetable, herb, or pollinator seeds.
