Mobile Print
Print from your Internet-connected device:
Volusia County Public Library offers wireless printing through the SmartALEC service.
Users can print from a computer or mobile device through this website.
The Library charges .15 for a B&W print and .25 for a color print.
1. Go to to SmartAlec webpage (https://smartalecplus.smartalecprint.com/?ID=VolusiaFL)
2. If you have a VCPL library card number, enter that and click the 'Log in' button.
Otherwise, click the 'First Time User' button and an account number will be generated.
(Keep this number, as you will need it for the next steps)
Provide an email or phone number and click the 'Submit' button to create the account.
Now re-enter the account number.
3. Click on the 'Select one or more multiple files to upload button' button.
4. Choose your files from the dialog box.
5. Then click the 'Upload' button.
(The document will remain there for 24 hours.)
6. Print at your local VCPL branch. You will need your library card number or the generated account number to retrieve your prints.
